Terms of Use

Last updated: October 24, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of thegoldrecipes.com (the "Site"), operated by The Gold Recipes ("we", "us", "our"). The Site publishes recipes for dinners, desserts, sides and healthy meals, along with themed recipe collections.

Please read these Terms before using the Site. How we handle personal data is described separately in our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Site. These Terms apply to everyone who browses the Site, reads recipes, submits a rating or comment, or sends us a message.

2. Use of Content and Copyright

The text, recipes, photographs, graphics, logo and layout of the Site belong to The Gold Recipes or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Our name and logo may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

You are welcome to use the content as follows:

  • Personal, non-commercial use. Cook our recipes at home, print them for your own kitchen, save them, and share the finished dishes with family and friends.
  • Sharing with a link. You may share a recipe by linking to its page on thegoldrecipes.com. If you feature a recipe on your own website, blog or social profile, you may use one photo together with a clear, visible link back to the original recipe post.

Please do not republish a recipe's full ingredient list or instructions, copy whole articles, or reproduce our photos in bulk. Selling our content, using it in paid products or placing it on other sites for advertising revenue requires our written permission.

3. User Submissions

The Site lets you send us content in three ways: recipe ratings and comments (your name and the text you submit), and messages through the contact form (name, email address and message).

Ratings and comments

Comments should be relevant, respectful and honest. Please do not post anything that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, misleading, or promotional spam, and do not include personal information about other people. By submitting a comment you confirm that you wrote it or have the right to share it, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to display it on the Site.

We may edit, decline to publish or remove any submission at our discretion, for example to remove spam or off-topic content.

Comments reflect the personal experience and opinions of the people who write them. They are not statements by The Gold Recipes, and we are not responsible for suggestions or substitutions offered by other readers.

Contact messages

Messages sent through the contact form are used only to reply to you. See the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Recipe and Nutrition Disclaimer

Our recipes are written with clear steps, realistic times and temperatures, substitution ideas and food-safety notes. Even so, cooking involves variables we cannot control, and you use the recipes at your own discretion.

Results vary

Ovens, air fryers, slow cookers and grills differ from one appliance to the next, as do pan sizes, ingredient brands, altitude and the ripeness or water content of produce. Cooking and baking times are guides rather than guarantees, so your results may differ from the photos and descriptions on the Site. Adjust as needed and use your own judgement.

Food safety and doneness

You are responsible for preparing and storing food safely. Wash your hands and surfaces, keep raw meat, poultry and seafood away from ready-to-eat foods, refrigerate leftovers promptly, and use fresh ingredients. Always confirm that meat, poultry, fish and egg dishes are cooked through by checking the internal temperature with a food thermometer.

As general guidance, the USDA recommends 165°F (74°C) for poultry and for leftovers being reheated, and 160°F (71°C) for ground beef. Follow the guidance of your local food-safety authority where it differs.

Nutrition information

Any nutrition values shown with a recipe, such as calories, protein, fat or carbohydrates, are estimates. They depend on the specific brands, quantities and preparation methods you use, so actual values will vary. They are provided for general reference only.

Allergens

Recipes may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, fish and shellfish. Read the labels of every ingredient you use, and substitute as your own needs require. We cannot guarantee that any recipe is free of a particular allergen.

Not medical or dietary advice

The content of the Site, including the Healthy category and high-protein recipes, is general information about food and cooking. It is not medical, nutritional or dietary advice and is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional. If you have a medical condition, food allergy, or specific dietary needs, consult your doctor or a registered dietitian before changing your diet.

5. Third-Party Links and Ads

The Site may link to websites, services and social profiles that we do not own or control, including our Pinterest profile, and it may display advertising supplied by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, privacy practices or policies of those third parties, and a link or an ad is not an endorsement.

When you leave the Site, the terms and privacy policies of the other site apply, and we encourage you to read them.

The Site uses Cloudflare for content delivery and security, which may set technical cookies. For more on this, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

Please use the Site in good faith. You agree not to interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy it in bulk by automated means, submit malicious code, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may restrict or block access for anyone who breaks these Terms or misuses the Site.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep the information accurate and the Site running smoothly, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or suitable for every purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Gold Recipes and the people who write for it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss or harm, including illness, allergic reaction, injury, property damage or loss of data, arising from your use of the Site, from preparing or eating food made from our recipes, from reliance on estimated nutrition values, or from the content of third-party sites and user comments.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when we add features or when legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the current version took effect. By continuing to use the Site after an update, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the Site.

9. Contact

If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out through our contact page. You can also learn more about the Site and the people behind the recipes on the About Us page.
