Ingredients:

  • 4 large (6 inch) pita breads
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, slice each pita bread into 8 equal triangles.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper.
  3. Add the pita triangles to the bowl and toss gently with your hands or a spatula until the bread is fully coated and glistening.
  4. Spread the seasoned pieces in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring at least 1/2 inch of space between each piece.
  5. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes until the edges turn deep golden brown and the centers feel firm to the touch.
