Ingredients:
- 3 large pita breads
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- Slice each pita bread into halves, then quarters, and finally into triangles to create roughly 8 uniform wedges per pita.
- Place the pita wedges in a large mixing bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss thoroughly to coat.
- Sprinkle the fine sea salt, garlic powder, and dried oregano over the wedges and toss again until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 325°F (163°C).
- Arrange the wedges in the air fryer basket, overlapping slightly but avoiding deep packing.
- Air fry for 6–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even browning.
- Remove the chips once they are golden brown and toasted; allow them to cool slightly to reach maximum crispness.
