Ingredients:

  • 16 oz full-fat sour cream
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 packet (28g) dry onion soup mix
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives, finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine the sour cream, lemon juice, and whole milk in a medium mixing bowl. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and the acidity is evenly distributed.
  2. Fold in the onion soup mix, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Stir slowly using a spatula until the powder disappears and the dip takes on a pale, creamy hue.
  3. Gently stir in the minced chives. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the dried onion pieces to soften and the flavors to meld.
